Detail:
Same as the Teflon Mira Mist, but with a 1/4-28 thread at the back for the sample line. Made to simplify connections to flow injection and similar attachments. Uses Idex chromatographic fittings, and 1/16” (1.5mm) sample lines.

Features:
— Enhanced Parallel Path Teflon Nebulizer
— Can operate on 0.2 ml/min to 2.5 ml/min.
— Excellent mist, and can handle high level of particulates in sample
— Fits regular chambers as a direct replacement for glass concentric nebulizers
— Operates on standard pressures of 35 – 45 psi.

Peek inner capillaries, PTFE nose, Peek Body for strength and longevity. Sample Capillary: 175 microns. Can operate on sample flow rates from 5 µl/min up to 1 ml/min.
The SC-175 is a variation of the X-175, but tuned for very low flow capability.
The SC-175 is set to run at a bit higher pressure than a Mira Mist, but well within most instruments standard ranges. Uses about 40 psi for .65 L/min

Special application low-flow nebulizer designed for CE-ICP-MS for use when low flow or exceedingly high stability and intensities are required.

Designed for CE-ICP-MS interface, the Mira Mist CE allows the CE capillary to extend to the tip of the nebulizer for zero suction, and zero back pressure CE interfacing with ICP-MS. Works best with a mini chamber.

Burgener Research Nebulizers

Burgener Research nebulizers work in inductively coupled plasma (ICP) to convert liquid samples into fine aerosols for introduction into the plasma. They use a patented Enhanced Parallel Path method to create a stable mist with small droplets.

ICP Nebulizers | Burgener Research. Burgener Nebulizers use the patented Enhanced Parallel Path Method. They work on the basic principle that any body of liquid is capable of producing a fine mist with a gas stream if they are in close proximity to each other.

Burgener Research Nebulizers

Features of Burgener Research nebulizers:
  • Large opening: The liquid path has a large opening to prevent tiny particles from plugging it.
  • High-flow and low-flow: Burgener Research offers designs for both high and low-flow situations.
  • Teflon sample and gas passages: Teflon is a non-wetting material that prevents sticking and cross-contamination between samples.
  • PEEK external bodies: PEEK is a tough and durable material that makes nebulizers long-lasting.
  • High-salt content and large particles: Burgener Research nebulizers are reliable for samples with high-salt content and large particles.
  • Small-sample quantities: Burgener Research nebulizers can efficiently nebulize even the smallest sample quantities.
The quality of the aerosol generated by a nebulizer directly impacts the sensitivity, stability, and overall performance of the ICP analysis.
