(QD) Quick Disconnect nebulizer fitting allows for a fast and easy way to connect and disconnect the gas supply line to the nebulizer.
Includes Teflon insert with PTFE capillary tubing (1.4mm OD x 0.8mm ID x 250mm long sample tube) 1/PKT
Fitting can also be used as an easy and leak-free drain plug on some spray chambers.
Function of Nebulizer Fittings
Nebulizer fittings ensure a tight, leak-free connection between the sample tubing and the nebulizer. In doing so, the fittings prevent any disruptions in the sample flow that could affect the accuracy of the analysis.
The Quick Disconnect Function
A “quick disconnect” on a nebulizer fitting in ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) allows for the rapid and easy attachment and detachment of the gas supply line to the nebulizer.
