MicroMist Nebulizer 0.1mL/min with EzyFit & EzyLok
The MicroMist micro-uptake glass concentric nebulizer offers high performance for limited sample volumes. Specifically, MicroMists with sample uptakes 0.2 – 0.4 mL/min. are fit with an EzyFit connector with 1.3 o.d. x 0.50 mm i.d. x 700 mm long sample tubing. Similarly, MicroMists with sample uptakes 0.05 – 0.1 mL/min. are fit with an EzyFit connector with 1.3 o.d. x 0.25 mm i.d. x 700 mm long sample tubing. All MicroMist Nebulizers come with the EzyLok Argon connector.
What Makes the MicroMist Nebulizer Different?
The MicroMist Nebulizer 0.2 mL/min w/EzyLok – AR35-1-FM02LE is a Micro-uptake glass concentric nebulizer. It’s for low-flow Inductively Coupled Plasma applications (ICP). Generally, it offers high performance for limited sample volumes and has a reputation for precision and efficiency.
- Micro-Uptake Design: The MicroMist is a special design for low-volume sample uptake. Chiefly, it’s suitable for situations where the sample is scarce or when there is high sensitivity.
- Glass Concentric Nebulizer: It utilizes a glass concentric nebulizer design, that produces a fine aerosol with a narrow size range at low flow rates.
- EzyLok Connector: The “EzyLok” feature refers to a specific type of connector for easy, secure connection of the nebulizer to the ICP instrument.
- High Performance for Limited Samples: The design handles limited sample volumes effectively. This makes it suitable for applications such as routine ICP-MS Hg determinations and reducing matrix effects when used with Glass Expansion’s Cinnabar spray chamber.
- Excellent Transport Efficiency and Precision: The MicroMist DC nebulizer has a reputation for excellent transport efficiency and precision. This is critical for accurate and reproducible results.
- Standard for low-flow ICP-OES and ICP-MS applications: The MicroMist DC nebulizer has become the worldwide standard nebulizer for low-flow ICP-OES and ICP-MS applications.
- V-Groove Nebulizers: While some nebulizers, like V-groove, can handle a wider range of samples, the MicroMist excels in low-flow applications and limited sample volumes.
- Other Concentric Nebulizers: While other concentric nebulizers exist, the MicroMist is specifically optimized for low-flow and micro-uptake applications. That is because it offers better performance in these specific areas.
