DuraMist Nebulizer is an HF-resistant nebulizer, that provides excellent sensitivity and precision at an affordable price. It is compatible with all ICP models’ ability to run samples with up to 30% total dissolved solids without blockage making it a universal nebulizer.
How does the DuraMist Differ from Other ICP Nebulizers?
Material: Unlike traditional glass or quartz nebulizers, the DuraMist is made of inert PEEK, making it suitable for samples containing HF and other corrosive acids.
Concentric vs. Parallel-Path: While parallel-path (or v-groove) nebulizers are designed to resist blockages, they may have larger droplets and a wider droplet size distribution, potentially affecting efficiency and precision. The DuraMist’s concentric design offers a balance of sensitivity and tolerance to dissolved solids.
Dissolved Solids Tolerance: The DuraMist has a higher tolerance to dissolved solids compared to some other concentric nebulizers, allowing for the analysis of a wider range of samples.
